Melancholy

Oh, my old friend gone, left me this way, that event i missed, that what i lost, all the stuff never done right or totally wrong, the mistakes, the shortcomings, the let downs, the put downs, the fights, the bickering, the arguments, the failures, the disappointments, the pain, the hurt, the suffering, the deeds that just didn’t make it anywhere, all the time lost, all the times spent alone, hungry, hurt, sad, and losses, of people, pets, friends, loves’, times, places, homes, parents, children, flowers, plants, animals, clouds, sky, trees, rivers, lakes, mountains, hills, breezes, laughter, good times, fun over and gone, enduring rainy wet, muddy, hot, dusty, thirsty, dry and cold frozen times, brings me to, what the…i’m still breathing, kicking and able, so, watch out, I’m off to do it all over again and again, until i cannot anymore, and then till i cannot do anything at all, but, be gone, so, happy and content, another of my friends, they both walk hand and hand with me, joking and crying as we move into the presence of absences and knowing we will one day all meet death…Strong Buffalo
