Knock, Knock

A dark gloom descends upon the pre-dawns’ entrance, a rumbling roars in my tummy, someone texted me, as someone knocks on my door, neither one made much sense, at this hour, to me, gloom has no invitation and sleep resists the beckoning, the pressure cooker barks alarm in the kitchen below, silly dances alone on top of the sink, rebuttal gave up the make up, before it sought relief and entered into the ceremony ritual, but, my befuddled judgement decided before the victim arose, the jury hung out the deliberation, until the court realized that a crime never happened and no one was at my door, so, i said, “Come on in.” And, the nothing on the text from a robo call, hmmm, the doggie didn’t even bark or stir to that knock, knock on my door.
